Shift:
Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 10:
30 PM, OT as neededWhat this job involves - The Maintenance Mechanic/General Building Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, plumbing equipment, general repair & labor, and involvement with various systems in the assigned facilities.
Assists other JLL Facilities team members on-site in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks.
Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, plumbing, doors, etc.
What is the day to day?Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
General interior maintenance - light plumbing, hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, replace ceiling tiles, and repair doors.
Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directedMoves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requestedSet up conference rooms and/or the conference center for events - as requested.
Assist the Electrician on the team occasionally with light electrical & lighting workClean HVAC coils, change filters and belts - and assist the on-site HVAC technician as needed.
Complete Hazard Assessments as necessaryComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduledComplies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required1
years of experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical in a commercial settingStrong Customer Service skillsExperience using volt meterPreferred:
Experience using CMMS Corrigo Work Order systemWork Environment:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders.
Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.

Salary:
$19 per hour.
