Occupational Health Nurse

Position OverviewProvide occupational health services and programsResponsible to reduce the risk of chronic disease, sickness, and disability to promote a long, healthy, high-quality life and careerWork with Regional HSE to ensure compliance to all local, state, federal laws, and corporate guidelines regarding medical leaves and accommodations.
Key Responsibilities Provides nursing services and emergency treatments to employees who become ill or suffer a work-related injury.
Arranges and accompanies employees to panel physician visits for work related injuries and illness.
Perform follow-up to employees for all incidents and close calls.
Maintain contact and logs with any personnel on worker's compensation.
Provide various preventive health evaluations and tests to assist in overall employee health and welfare.
Provide health promotion education.
Provide training and advice to facility first responders and safety committee.
Maintain required legal documentation and notes.
Qualifications and skills Registered Nurse preferred.
3 to 5 years occupational nursing.
Safety training preferred.
Communication Skills Microsoft proficient.
